Partnership of the Historic Bostons
Programs and Projects

◊ The Founders Trail is a two-hour, guided walking tour of downtown Boston locations that are related to those who founded the city in 1630 and are significant to understanding the events and history of Boston from that time up to the American Revolutionary War.

◊ Annual programs to celebrate Boston Charter Day, September 7, with a series of free, public programs and lectures.

◊ Professional Development Workshop for Teachers with The Bostonian Society and The Commonwealth Museum to provide teachers with classroom materials about the 17th century history of Boston and the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

◊ Programs with Boston Latin School to develop curriculum models for classroom use in both Bostons that focus on educational activities that support the Partnership’s mission.

◊ Joint efforts with the Historic Bostons’ Partnership, in Boston, England, to develop programs of mutual benefit, many of which are focused on students in the two Bostons’ schools.
